STRIPWRECKED: BOOBS IN SPACE

Embark on an intergalactic adventure where survival meets seduction!

The year is 5022, and Celestial Cruise Lines has a problem: There’s been an explosion on Tour Pod Seven, and a simple three hour tour has gone terribly wrong.

Nine wacky bananas survive the crash to find themselves shipwrecked on a lush, untouched planet. It seems as if the planet is trying to kill them - - but will they kill each other first?

This kitschy sci-fi burlesque romp features our A-List Dancers in a B-List Movie plot, where only the resourceful will survive. Will our heroes reach the top of the Volcano? Survive a night in the jungle? Defeat the vicious BeachTurtle? Come find out, this spring, down at The Clock!

“Stripwrecked: Boobs in Space” is a Naked Theatre Production, written by Jefferson Arca, author of "Route Stripty-Six" and "CLUE: A Stripsearch!"

Cosmic chaos! Titillating twists! And out-of-this-world performances!

May the laughter be with you!

LAUGHING MATTERS

A Play Written and Performed by Bob Powers

What better antidote to a crazy decade than an evening that makes us laugh. Laughing lifts our spirits. Phyllis Diller once said, “My back goes out more often than I do. Powers related, and wrote his new play, Laughing Matters, which recently premiered in Portland, Oregon to sold out houses.

Laughing Matters is a hilarious, yet sweet tale of love, family and a life lived with joy and occasional angst. Audiences will sit back and enjoy a collection of stories, some inane like the tale of his mother’s carrot addiction and Powers morphing into a gay Sammy Davis. Jr.; some poignant like his telling his 4 year old daughter that he was a homosexual. For the sake of the audience, as well as the performer, Laughing Matters will be performed fully clothed :)

Powers first appeared at The Clocktower Cabaret several years ago when he headed a sold out evening entitled A Night in Italia. Last year, during Denver’s biggest snowstorm in a decade, Powers performed his acclaimed one-man show Chasing Rainbows, a story of love and loss, which played in numerous States and in Italy. His first play, Ode to Barry Manilow was selected for inclusion in the largest solo festival in the world, the Solo Mio Festival, which is where Powers joined the ranks of Claire Bloom, Alan Ginsberg, Margaret Cho, Anna Deavere Smith and other Solo Mio performers.

Laughing Matters runs 90 minutes, plus intermission.
