Cast Bios:
ULA UBERBUSEN (New York City, NY) Broadway World calls her act “the most captivating routine of the evening.” Ula is a burlesque performer and producer of such touring smash hits as Twirly Whirly Burly-Q and Victrola Burlesque. Recently Ula played a featured role in the award-winning NY burlesque film “The Cruel Tale of The Medicine Man.” She performs regularly around the Big Apple and has been featured in countless festivals across the country. Awards include the “Beautiful Weirdo” Award from Alternatease, the New England Neo-Burlesque Festival, “Judges Choice” Award & “Perle Noire’s Favorite Act” at The Great Burlesque Exposition, and “Most Original Act” from the Oklahoma City Burlesque Festival. Ula holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Miami and studied with the Shakespeare Theater Company and the NY School of Burlesque. http://www.ulauberbusen.com

WILFREDO (New York City, NY) Big teeth, tight pants and a singing voice to die for! That’s Wilfredo – a lover, singer, poet and drinker who charms the birds down from the trees all over the world. Grotesque, deluded but always loveable, Wilfredo is the powerhouse comedy creation who has won hearts at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Adelaide Fringe and at the Magners International Comedy Festival in both Manila and Singapore. In South Africa, Wilfredo performed to over 20,000 people at the Cape Town Funny Festival, while Reykjavik Kabarett in Iceland have claimed him as one of their own. MISS EKATERINA (New York City, NY) Miss Ekaterina was born in Russia. She trained as a rhythmic gymnast and became a member of the Russian National Team, competing successfully in numerous international championships. After retiring from competitions she joined the Antigravity dance troupe and moved to New York City. She was crowned Miss Coney Island, appeared in Julie Taymor’s “Across the Universe”, came out of giant clam, floated inside a snow globe on the lake at the Greenwood Cemetery, served drinks while in a backbend, got two cats and rode motorcycle on a high wire. JAMES & THE GIANT PASTY (Toronto, Canada) Credits include the Burlesque Hall of Fame, the New York and Vienna Boylesque Festivals, Toronto, Kitchener and Ottawa Pride, The Feminist Porn Awards, and The Life Ball in Vienna. He is also the founder and artistic director of BoylesqueTO, Canada’s Premiere All-Male Burlesque Troupe.
